Questions, answered
Is Lobbii free?
Yes. Every feature is free to use and there is no credit card, no trial and no premium tier. Lobbii is built by one developer for gaming groups; if it ever links to a store, that link is marked as an affiliate link.
Which platforms can I connect?
Steam (by Steam ID or vanity URL), Epic Games, GOG, Xbox, PlayStation and itch.io sync automatically. Ubisoft Connect, EA and Battle.net have no library API we can use, so you add those games by name — it takes a minute. Games on every platform show up together in your groups.
Does Lobbii ever see my Steam or store password?
No. Steam only needs your public Steam ID. Epic and GOG use the same paste-a-code login flow that Playnite and Heroic use, and Xbox, PlayStation and itch.io use a personal read-only key you generate yourself. You never type a store password into Lobbii.
Do my friends need accounts too?
To find the games a whole group owns, yes — each person links their own libraries once, then every group they join is up to date automatically. If you just want a quick check with one friend, the Compare tool works with two Steam IDs and no account at all.
My Steam library shows nothing, or is missing games.
Steam only shares a library with third parties when the profile and its Game details are set to Public. Change that in your Steam privacy settings and press Refresh on the Libraries page. Free-to-play games you have never launched are not listed by Steam, so they will not appear either.
What does Lobbii do beyond listing shared games?
It helps the game night actually happen: mark yourself Down to Play, run a quick poll on what to play, schedule sessions with reminders, set up a tournament bracket, chat with the group, and get a heads-up when a game your crew wants goes on sale.
Is there a mobile app?
Lobbii works in any browser on any device, and there is an Android app with push notifications for session reminders and group activity. You can also add the website to your home screen on iPhone.
What data do you store, and can I delete it?
Your account, the list of games in each library you connect, your groups and the things you do in them. No store passwords are ever stored. You can disconnect any platform at any time, and Delete Account in Settings removes everything permanently.
